Deafening sounds of their howls pierce the forest.
Arrows of poison hailing down upon our arrival.
Drug into darkness by unknown beings
The path of our lord has failed us
Burning corpses in piles
Disregarding our saviors word
As I’m chased, I see the glowing eyes
on both sides of my path, no where to run
One by one picked off each night.
Our reverends hang from the trees,
used as decoration to display
unwavering prejudice.
We recited the verses and carried the cross
and still they devoured us
Despised by an unaccepting horde of sadist fiends.
With my own eyes I’ve seen them devour our priests.
hysterical laughter drowns out the sound of ripping flesh.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names.
